I walk my path, that is different then anyone else’s and therefore is unique/authentic/special. It cannot be compared to anyone else’s. Everything that is here (feelings, circumstances, people,...) is meant for me: it is an opportunity for me to get to know myself better. I am making myself feel this certain way: I choose how I attract, and I choose how I perceive. All of these triggers are aspects of past conditioning and programming: I thank them, and I set them free.

Triggers are uncomfortable feelings we get when our judgmental self-chatter tells us that the situation we are in should not be the way it is. This opinion comes from our past conditioning, and since we know that this is limited and relative, why do we succumb to this and allow it to make us feel less than enough? I believe we habitually gave it credibility, because this conditioning came from certain “authorities” we were trusting; and like any other habits, this can be changed as well. Being playful, curious and genuinely eccentric are characteristics of mine I feel create strong connections with people around me! Especially when a good number of people thinks it is “mature” to be “serious”, it is very important for us to embody the weirdness that comes with being authentic. Being authentic is only possible if your inner child is fully comfortable to “come out and play”- this will be perceived by some people as weird and even triggering sometimes, but you owe it to yourself to shine your true light despite opinions around you! The most powerful forms of self-expression are created when the creator is authentic and loves what he/she does! This photo beautifully shows the radical health transformation I went through ever since I moved to the USA from Serbia (Europe). I dropped 40 pounds! Some aspects are still the same: I still speak Serbian (sort of XD), do strength training (much lighter then before though), enjoy metal music🤘, and am my goofy self! Most other parts are totally different: 1. I wasn’t able to “get full” without consuming meat, cheese and bread/pasta for every single meal; Now, I do intermittent and other forms of fasting, eat 99% plant based, and the heaviest thing I eat are nuts (with occasional cheat meals of course); 2. I used to smoke up to two packs of cigarettes per day, and now my body physically cannot stand a single drag; 3. I drank alcohol almost every day: beer was like water for me, frequently supplemented with various kinds of hard liquor. I felt like I needed alcohol to deal with myself and to have a good time with others; Now, I have a drink maybe once in a month, and if I have more then two, I simply start feeling sleepy and I have to go to bed; 4. My daily rituals are different: instead of watching TV and playing video games I do breathing exercises, running, biking, prayer, meditation, yoga, and various kinds of self-reflection and other practices. Oh yeah: I drink a lot more water now! |
